HOUSING plans that have attracted numerous objections will be discussed by Councillors on Wednesday.

A planning application to build four houses on land to the rear of 19 and 21 Ashfield Avenue, Frizinghall, is due to be decided by members of Bradford Council's Area Planning Panel (Bradford) at a City Hall meeting.

Planning officers have recommended that the plans, by Richard Dawson, be approved, despite 23 people having written to the Council to object to the homes.

The houses would be built in a garden area behind the properties, with access between the two houses.

Objections to the plans range from the fact that it would be harmful to air quality to security risks to neighbouring properties and a claim the applicant doesn't live in the area.

A report being presented to the committee says: "The proposed development is considered to be an appropriate form of development on this prominent site. The proposal is not considered to be harmful to visual amenity, residential amenity or highway safety."

The meeting takes place at 10am.
