THE first St Blaise Wool Festival to be held in Bradford since 1825 has been hailed a resounding success.
Alpacas, spinning demonstrations, family activities and stalls made up the event at the Industrial Museum today.
Museum curator Liz Llabres said: “Everyone who came enjoyed it and have asked for another next year.”
St Blaise is the patron saint of wool combers and was a bishop and physician in historical Armenia in the 4th century.
The Feast of St Blaise is celebrated by the Latin Church on February 3.
