PEOPLE in the Bradford district are being warned that heavy snow may prevent bin crews from reaching some areas.
Weather warnings issued for snow and ice in Bradford
A Bradford Council spokesperson said: "All our bin crews are currently out attempting today's collections.
"However, heavy snow may prevent us from reaching certain areas. This is most likely to affect rural areas and areas of high ground."
Areas that may be affected today are: Buttershaw, Wyke, Queensbury, Wibsey, Clayton, Cleckheaton, Haworth, Brackenbank, Oxenhope, Oakworth, Cottingley, Denholme and Cullingworth.
People are being advised to leave their bin out as normal if it is due to be emptied today.
Its not quite as cold today but there's a good dusting of snow. Make sure you clear your windscreens and lights and drive carefully. Thanks to the gritters who have been working through the night keeping the main routes clear. Check gritting routes at https://t.co/6GsYuPFTdn pic.twitter.com/hlqiphZs3h
