A CHARITY providing hot meals to the city's homeless has received a donation of £938.
Yorkshire Water donated the money Bradford Community Kitchen after staff at its Western House HQ held a Christmas Jumper day, a bake sale and had a Fortnum and Mason hamper donated to raffle for the charity.
The money raised will help provide funds for the kitchen which feeds 80-150 homeless visitors every Sunday from 3pm to 5pm.
The charity also collects donated clothes and provides a food bank type of service.
Donna Hildreth, Yorkshire Water Customer Insight Manager, said: “It was a pleasure for us to help a cause which gives so much and makes a real difference in the community.
“The staff have been extremely supportive, not least Internal Communications Assistant, Alison Hipkin who drummed up support for the charity across its Head Quarters site and Sharron Foulds who supported the day and who also volunteers at the kitchen."
