FIRE crews were called to Bingley last night after reports of a car flipping on its roof.
Crews from Bingley attended the crash in Harden Road, Bingley, at around 9.30pm yesterday.
Upon arrival, they found a small hatchback car, thought to be a Toyota, on its roof, and a lamppost had also been damaged.
A spokesperson from Bingley fire station said there were no other vehicles involved in the crash.
He said: "The car had been heading down towards Bingley from Harden.
"When we got there the occupant had got out of the car so there were no injuries, but an ambulance was called as a precaution.
"The call initially came in as a multi-car crash so technical rescue from Cleckheaton was called, but we turned them back when we found it was just one car.
"The car was on its roof and a lamppost had been taken out. The road was dry, so it was just down to excessive speed."
