A SHOPLIFTER was arrested on Tuesday when he was spotted running out of a high street store with stolen goods.
Police were on patrol in the Airedale Shopping Centre, in Keighley, when an officer saw a man running out of the Peacocks shop "at speed" and being chased by a security guard.
A Keighley West Ward Area PCSO tweeted that he took over the chase from the security guard and followed him onto North Street.
He was arrested after a short chase and the PCSO found stolen items in the bag he was carrying.
Earlier the same day, the same PCSO helped officers from Shipley search for and detain a man.
The man, who was wanted for burglary in the Long Lee area of Keighley, was taken into custody and questioned by officers.
