HIGHWAYS England has issued details of planned roadworks and ongoing road improvements on the motorway networks for the Yorkshire and Humber region for the week commencing Monday, January 14.
The eastbound exit and entry slip roads at Junction 27 for Gildersome on the M62 will be fully closed overnight for five nights from Monday, January 14, for junction improvement work.
The closure will take place between 8pm and 6am, and drivers will be able to follow clearly signed diversion routes during that time.
Highways England has also issued a reminder to commuters that there will be lane two closures with a 50mph speed limit until spring on the M621 junction 27 exit slip road and the M62 junction 27 exit slip road.
These are for ongoing road improvement works along that stretch.
The Authority says all the improvements are being carried out with the aim of causing as little disruption as possible.
