JEREMY Corbyn will visit a local constituency tomorrow in preparation for the next general election.

The Labour Party leader is a guest speaker at an event in Guiseley (Pudsey constituency) which will be headed by parliamentary candidate for the area, Jane Aitchison.

Both politicians will give speeches before heading out to campaign in the local constituency by canvassing and leafleting.

The politician's visits to the area in the past have brought about large crowds.

Mr Corbyn came to see Labour Party members in the Shipley constituency last October, where he received a rapturous welcome.

In 2017, he unveiled his election manifesto at Bradford University in anticipation the general election of June that year.

One woman on the Facebook page for today's event mentioned she'd swapped her work hours just so she could see him this time.

People can sign up for the event on the Labour Party website.

Places are allocated on a first come first served basis with priority given to local members.

All those invited to the event will receive an email this afternoon confirming the time and the venue.
