A NEW burger restaurant is tipped to open its doors in Bradford soon.
Batley-based Frankie’s is taking on the Bank Street unit formerly occupied by the Veri Peri Portuguese restaurant.
Since the restaurant’s closure around a year ago, the unit, part of The Broadway shopping centre has stood empty.
The restaurant opened in August 2016, and was the first UK branch of the chain, which specialises in Portuguese style chicken and also has restaurants in Australia and Dubai.
The Bradford branch was its “pilot expansion” into the UK.
Frankie’s is aiming to open by the end of this month, a spokesperson for the centre confirmed.
The restaurant will be the latest in a number of new additions to The Broadway, including outdoor clothing store Trespass, Specsavers and Superdrug.
