TWO local branches of national retailers partnered together this winter to provide Christmas cheer to those less well off.
The Bradford stores of Bensons for Beds and Harveys Furniture, based in Forster Square Retail Park, joined together to ask the community for donations to their Christmas campaign.
All donations were used to fill the Mission Christmas Charity Box, with the gifts then being sent to children living in poverty up and down the country.
Some of the items donated included the "Speak Out" game, Lego and a Clementoni Science Museum Mechanics Laboratory Grand Prix Set.
A spokesperson from Bensons for Beds said the entire team from both branches wanted to thank the community for its response, adding that the donation box was overflowing.
They added: "Thank you for taking part to put a smile on the children's faces. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year everyone."
