RESIDENTS living in Kirklees are being asked for their views on taxis.
Kirklees Council would like to hear from anyone with an opinion on a range of policies relating to the suitability of applications and licensees as drivers.
The policies, which are West Yorkshire-wide, also look at driver training as well as the Kirklees Council Hackney Carriage and Private Policy.
The overriding aim of the policy is to protect the public, safeguard children and those that are vulnerable.
The policies and a survey which people can use to submit their responses can be found online at http://www.kirklees.gov.uk/beta/contact-the-council/consultations or people can e-mail their views to licensing@kirklees.gov.uk
Submissions can be made until January 18, 2019.
