MOTORISTS in Hipperholme will face delays for more than a month when gas work begins in the new year.
Northern Gas Networks (NGN), is making a significant investment to replace the ageing gas main at Wakefield Road in Hipperholme and work will begin on January 3 and run until February 9.
A road closure will be placed on Wakefield Road at the junction of Leeds Road from January 3 to January 20, 2019.
A clearly signed diversion route will direct motorists to the A649 Wakefield Road, A641 Bradford Road, Whitehall Road East and the A58 Leeds Road, and vice versa.
