TWO hooded burglars have been arrested by police in Wrexham after an early hours smash and grab raid at a town centre store.
North Wales Police were alerted to the break in shortly before 3am on Tuesday morning, when an alarm at the Bodycare store on Hope Street was triggered.
A spokesman for the police confirmed a large window at the front of the store had been broken and various cosmetic items taken and although one of the men was apprehended on Hope Street, another was seen running away from the scene.
He said: "The other man was arrested on nearby Chester Street and was found to be carrying a large black bag, which was full of various cosmetics that had been taken from a window display."
Nobody from Bodycare was available for comment.
