A MOTORWAY dropped to its lowest speed this morning due to reports of a vehicle driving in the wrong direction.
Speeds were set to 20mph after news of the vehicle travelling the wrong way on the M62.
Footage posted on Twitter by PC Martin Willis showed motorway gantry signs set at this low limit.
It also showed several cars having to travel at slow speeds.
PC Willis said: "Gantry signs set to the lowest speed due to reports of a vehicle travelling the wrong way on the M62.
"Either my X5 isn't bright enough or some driver's simply want to spend time in the back of it."
