A Hakin man has admitted drug-driving.
Craig Walters, formerly of Milford Haven, now of Glebelands, pleaded guilty to driving while over the controlled drug limit when he appeared before Haverfordwest magistrates on Tuesday, December 11.
Prosecutor Abul Hussain told the court police could smell cannabis coming from Walters’ Vauxhall Corsa when they conducted a spot-check on the vehicle in Cherry Tree Close, Milford Haven, on September 28.
The bench heard that Walters, 23, was previously of clean character.
Mark Layton, defending, said Walters was stopped very near his former home, and fully admitted he had smoked cannabis.
Magistrates fined Walters £220 and ordered him to pay £85 court costs plus a £30.
He was banned from driving for 12 months.
