PUPILS from Johnston CP School enjoyed their first public performance at Morrisons supermarket in Haverfordwest on Decemeber 11.
The newly reformed school choir was set up just nine weeks ago, but the junior singers did themselves proud, performing a string of popular Christmas hits, including Elton John's Your Song.
Claire Sanders-Swales of Johnston School said the 29 singers sang very well, both as a group and in solo performances.
"We would like to thank all of the children in choir for being so dedicated and cannot wait to build on the progress of the last nine weeks to see what we can be achieved in the forthcoming weeks and months," she said.
"I am proud of each and every one of you."
Gareth Thomas, headteacher, added: "I am extremely proud to once again have a school choir that is able to give the talented pupils of Johnston the chance to perform in school and to the wider community.
"I look forward to seeing them taking the Urdd Eisteddfod by storm in the new year."
