West Yorskhire Police has had a bumper response to its latest CCTV appeal - but probably not the one they were hoping for.
The image, posted on their 'Caught on Camera' series showed a woman officers want to speak to about an assault in Leeds.
But the post on the Force's Facebook page attracted ridicule - because of the face's startling eyes.
Asked "Do you recognise this person?" users posted hundreds of comments - but few will have been useful to the investigation.
