POLICE officers have issued a warning over scam callers mentioning Stockton Heath Station.
There have been a number of reports in the past week of residents being called and told their bank accounts are being frozen.
The caller also adds there's an issue with fraud regarding their account and mention a case number and Stockton Heath Station.
A spokesman added: "This is a scam.
"Please do not hand over any card details or personal information."
Officers in Grappenhall and Thelwall are also warning residents about a man referring to himself as 'Jason'.
A spokesman added: "He has knocked on doors asking for 'donations'.
"He doesn't like taking no for an answer but please just shut the door and ring 101.
"He is wearing a dark greenish anorak and carrying a dark-coloured bag."
