A CITY centre office building has failed to sell at auction.

The Annex Building at Broadacre House, near the city’s Leisure Exchange car park, went under the hammer with a guide price of £500,000 last week at an auction of Pugh Property.

The building, next to the city centre’s Premier Inn and a short distance from the Broadway Shopping Centre, was described as a: “Modern two storey city centre office building, extending to 870 sq m (9,320 sq ft). Capable of being split.”

The lot had also included the building’s 10 space car park.

But the building went unsold on the day, and is still on the market. It now has an asking price of £540,000.

The building is currently partly let, with an existing tenant due to vacate at the end of the year.
