Police were called to a Bradford house after a report that ‘several guns’ had been discovered.
Officers were called to a property in the Four Lane Ends area of the city by a resident who had just moved into a new house.
Once on the scene, officers found three guns from the early part of last century.
PC Dan Holdsworth, who works in the Bradford West area, tweeted: “Slightly different job this evening - new homeowner calls us to say they've found several guns in the house...!
“They include a 1920's Pistol, a pre-war starting pistol and a rifle from 1907!
“All three have been proved safe. They will now be seized and destroyed.”
