POLICE are investigating a report of serious sexual assault on a 32-year-old woman off Tisma Drive, Bierley.
Officers were called at 9.07am this morning.
A 30-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
An eye witness reported that a snicket had been cordoned off by police tape.
Enquiries remain ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
