A WOMAN was cut out of a car after a two vehicle crash in Girlington caused delays along Thornton Road into and around the city centre this afternoon.
The crash, involving a blue Audi Q3 and a silver Toyota Avensis happened at around 1.22pm, at the junction of Thornton Road and Girlington Road, outside the Victoria Shopping Centre.
The crash has happened outside the Round Thorn public house, which is situated on the junction.
A woman was cut out of the blue Audi Q3 by firefighters and was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary for treatment.
Police said she was being taken to hospital for checks and her injuries were not thought to be life threatening.
Emergency services including police and the fire service were at the scene for several hours while the incident was cleared.
