BRADFORD’S newest art gallery is showing a fresh exhibition in the city throughout December.

Trapezium Arts’ third month-long exhibition of contemporary art and photography is now open four days a week at Kirkgate.

In addition they are looking for more artists and photographers to fill the space in the coming months, plus volunteers to help with running the gallery.

Ken Woods, a member of the gallery collective, said: “We’re exhibiting a variety of art in a way that’s easily accessible – people can walk straight in off the street - and we provide artists with a supportive space in which to display their work.

"We want to spread the word that artists are welcome to come and talk to us and we’ll work with them to display their work in the way they want.”

The current exhibition runs until December 22 featuring water photos from Rob Walsh and work focusing on the mess of consumerism from Ann Driver.

The gallery is open on Mondays, Tuesday and Fridays from 11am to 3pm, and on Saturdays from 10am to 4pm.
