Queuing traffic on the M62 after the accident
THREE lanes were closed and there is queueing traffic on the M62 due to a multi-vehicle accident and another crash on the M606 is causing delays.
The incident happened on the Westbound carriageway between J26 at Chain Bar and J25 A644 Wakefield Road at Brighouse.
Congestion continues to Bishopthorpe Road. Travel time is around 25 to 30 minutes.
Three of the four lanes were closed to allow the Highways Agency to deal with the scene.
The agency reports that just one lane remains closed with the vehicles involved moved.
The M606 was also reported partially blocked with very slow traffic due to an accident on Merrydale Road both ways at J2 for the Euroway Trading Estate.
