PUPILS at Bradford Grammar School are following in the footsteps of one of the city's most famous sons.
The budding artists are showing off their talents at Cartwright Hall Art Gallery, one of David Hockney's favourite galleries.
It's the schools ninth biennial public art exhibition a the gallery, displaying artwork produced by pupils across the senior school.
The hall features a dedicated gallery about the life and work of Hockney, a former student at the grammar school.
Sonja Kielty, Cartwright Hall curator said: “It’s fabulous for Bradford Grammar School pupils to present their work in the place where David Hockney would often visit - the grand Edwardian art gallery across the road from his former school. It’s also a lovely opportunity for the school to support the arts locally and encourage more young people to get creative.”
