PLANS for a new function hall have been rejected by planners.
An application was submitted to Bradford Council seeking permission to change the use of the first floor of York House, York Street, Fairweather Green, from a workshop and storage space to a venue for "weddings, conferences and small gatherings".
But in refusing the application, planning officers said raised concerns that there would not be adequate parking, leading to vehicles parking on nearby residential streets.
Their report said: "This level of comings and goings, particularly during unsociable hours would lead to noise and general disturbance for neighbouring residential properties."
The report also said insufficient information was submitted to "enable its proper consideration" and it would be "detrimental to the amenities of neighbouring residents".
