A 28-YEAR-OLD man is in custody awaiting trial for an alleged kidnap in Westcroft Road, Great Horton, Bradford, last month.
Paul Serrant, of Withins Close, Great Horton, appeared before Bradford Crown Court on a video link to Leeds Prison today.
Serrant pleaded not guilty to, jointly with Ghurfan Khalid, unlawfully by force or fraud taking or carrying away Ataf Ali against his will on November 1.
He also denied causing Mr Ali grievous bodily harm with intent and having a machete as an offensive weapon in Westcroft Road.
The trial date was fixed for May 1.
