BRADFORD'S very own Christmas "light-bringer" is back for another year, with two new additions to his collection
Peter Downes, who lives on All Alone Road, has been decking his house out with festive bulbs for over a decade now.
This will be his 12th year.
But, Christmas 2018 will now include a new light-up tree, as well as a luminous see-saw.
Mr Downes officially flicked the switch to "on" last Friday and, as he has done previously, he will be raising money for the Marie-Curie Hospice.
This magical grotto of light and festivity can be found on the All Alone Road, Idle Moor, cut-through, just off Westfield Lane.
There are many passersby on this route, who use it as a shortcut between the top of Idle and Wrose.
Mr Downes' lightshow will continue into January, with visitors able to give donations to help with fundraising.
Over the years, Mr Downes has raised close to £15,000 for charity and has even had celebrities come and switch the lights on in the past.
The display includes a large sparkly Santa.
