A FORMER estate agent office on Great Horton Road will become a new ice cream parlour if new plans are approved.
An application has been submitted to Bradford Council that would see the former Bradford Property Rental unit on the corner of Rand Street and Great Horton Road be turned into a new eatery.
The unit, which is near a number of student flats, has been shut since June.
The application, by Omar Zubair, says: “The proposal will bring new business and prosperity to the area as well as employment opportunities. Our aim is to prevent minimal impact to the surrounding area.”
The plans are expected to create three full time and two part time jobs, and say the business would open from 11am to midnight.
A decision is expected in January.
