SHOPPERS will be encouraged to make the most of Bradford’s Oastler Market this Saturday.
Small Business Saturday is a national event held to encourage people to ditch big name chain stores for the day.
Local group Wur Bradford will be marking the day by hosting an event in Oastler Market.
They will hold a “meet the traders” tour around the market, where shoppers can speak to the people that give the market its character.
The event will run from 1 to 2pm, and will be followed by a screening of Ghostbusters in the market’s event space.

The arts group have held a number of events in the market in the past year, including We Are Here - a project that saw local artists working with market traders and members of the public to document the market’s history.
This was followed by an exhibition and two day celebration held in the market in April.
