A SHIPLEY care and support provider has been celebrating after scooping and one prize and being shortlisted for four others at a recent awards night.

Care Dynamics Yorkshire, which provides support for vulnerable children and adults was nominated for five awards at the Regional Great British Care Awards.

Support worker Daisy Aitken won the New to Care Award, and has been entered into the national finals taking place next March.

She said: “I am thrilled to win such an award, I really love my job.”

Cheryl Dibbin, director, added: “We are delighted for Daisy as her care and support really has made a difference to people’s lives and this accolade is very much deserved.

“To be shortlisted in five categories and win an award is an amazing achievement.”

Otley Road-based Care Dynamics were also nominated for the Care Employer Award, Sheila Bishop for the Home Care Worker Award, Margaret Malik for the Dignity in Care Award, and six members of the company were shortlisted together in the Care Team Award.
