GAS work costing £25,000 is set to start later this month in Bradford, lasting two weeks.
Northern Gas Networks will be tearing up a 157 metre long metallic gas main in Bankfoot, and replacing it with a durable plastic pipe, to ensure the safe supply of gas for the future.
The work is part of ongoing upgrades to gas mains in Bradford being carried out by the distributor.
The work will start on Thursday, November 29, and during the two weeks it will take, a road closure will be in place at the junction of Rooley Lane and Mayo Avenue, with a fully-signed diversion in place for motorists.
Anna Mycoe, business operations lead for Northern Gas Networks, said: “We would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused during these works, and thank our customers for their patience and support in getting them completed as quickly as possible."
