THE first Baby Week Bradford is taking place this week.
It is a celebration of babies across the district, families and anyone who supports families through pregnancy and the earliest years of a child’s life.
The event was launched yesterday at the Great Victoria Hotel with a string of world-renowned speakers focusing on how critical the earliest years of life are.
There are more than 40 individual events happening across the district for babies, families and professionals provided by a host of local organisations.
These include fun activities for babies and families such as story and rhyme time sessions, information sessions, an Audience with a Midwife for dads, meet the health visitor sessions and more.
Michaela Howell, director of Better Start Bradford, said: “Babies are amazing and are born ready for the world and really deserve to be celebrated. That’s why we are dedicating a whole week to them here in Bradford.”
