A DRIVER stopped in Bradford thought he was covered on Manchester Airport insurance, according to police.
West Yorkshire Police's Roads Policing Unit shared the bizarre excuse on Twitter as part of their ongoing crackdown on uninsured drivers.
They said: "The driver thought he was covered on Manchester airport insurance!!
"So the same insurance that would cover a Boeing 747 - covered his lovely Honda Civic also!.....unfortunately he was wrong."
It was just one of a number of cars stopped by police overnight.
Officers shared a further four photographs, two drivers were uninsured, while another two had no insurance or licence.
