A MAN has died after falling from a bridge on the M62 this morning, police have confirmed.
The motorway was closed throughout the day while emergency services work at the scene, at junction 22.
Inspector Tom Harrison, of West Yorkshire Police, said the call came in just before 11am, from someone saying they had seen a man fall from the bridge.
Inspector Harrison confirmed the man, in his 50s, has died.
Police are now investigating what happened, but are not seeking any other people at this time.
Highways England has said all lanes are now open between junctions 22 and 23 on the eastbound carriageway.
