BRADFORD X Factor star Danny Tetley is gearing up for tonight's live show.

This week is 'Big Band' week and will see the remaining eight finalists belt out classic hits from across the decades.

Reports suggest Danny, who is in Ayda Field's Over 25s category, will take on 'My Way' by Frank Sinatra.

Sending a video message to loyal fans ahead of tonight's show, he said: "It's week five, this is the week I've been waiting for, the live orchestra.

"I've rehearsed and it just sounds amazing.

"I cannot believe that I'm here and one week away from the semi-finals.

He added: "I'm the last over in the competition, the voting is normally a younger demographic, and the fact that I'm the last over out of all the thousands that applied, because you've kept me in, means the absolute world."

Shipley-born Danny, who most recently lived in the Spanish resort of Benidorm, said it would a "big, big, big" moment for him this evening and said he hoped it would be his time to shine.
