BRADFORD City Stadium played host to the annual Bradford Council Service Awards last week, as the hard-work and achievements of staff were celebrated.
The event - this year sponsored by Comenius-Visma , Pacific Institute, AdviserPlus, The Broadway, Bradford and Collingwood Learning - was an opportunity to recognise and reward some of the outstanding work Bradford Council staff do.
Winners were: Employee of the year - Abigayle Johnson (pictured); team of the year - Bradford South street cleanse team; apprentice of the year - Afzal Khalifa; leader of the year Hafiz Rahman and partner of the year - schools and Cliffe Castle for bringing reading to life for local children and their families.
Chief executive Kersten England said: “All those nominated have exhibited ingenuity, excellent work-ethic, and real care for the work they do for the people of Bradford.”
