A BOOK of Condolence has been opened to allow the people of the Bradford district to express their sympathy and celebrate the memory of Councillor Ian Greenwood OBE, who died on Monday aged 68.

The first person to sign the book was the Lord Mayor of Bradford, Coun Zafar Ali.

The book will be available in the reception area at Bradford’s City Hall for one month for people to sign.

Coun Ali said: “Councillor Ian Greenwood was a great politician who served the Bradford district with energy and passion. He was respected widely for his work, and well loved by family and friends. He will be greatly missed.”

People may attend City Hall to sign the book until Friday, December 14, during the usual opening hours, Monday to Thursday 8.15am to 5.15pm and Friday 8.15am to 4.45pm.
