PLANS have been submitted to turn a former pub into an educational support centre.
The application, for the old Peel Park Hotel on Otley Road (pictured), says: "The intended use seeks to provide educational support to the surrounding area, where currently the GCSE results are below the national standards."
It says classes for core subjects like English, maths and science will be held, as well as additional vocational courses, extra curricular activities and tuition classes.
The application adds that it will seek to work closely with local schools and Bradford Council's education department, to ensure high standards are met.
"This facility provides a safe and nurturing environment for those seeking further help within the residential area," it says.
