LOTTO players have been urged to check their tickets as two big winners are yet to claim their £2.3 million prizes.

Four ticket-holders matched all six numbers - 7, 12, 17, 38, 42, and 44 - in Saturday night's Lotto to share the £9.4 million jackpot.

But as of Monday afternoon only two had come forward to collect their £2.35 million winnings, the National Lottery said.

Meanwhile a jaw-dropping £76 million also remains unclaimed by one ticket-holder who scooped the jackpot in the EuroMillions draw on November 2.

The National Lottery is encouraging all players to look at their tickets so the three multi-millionaires can collect their life-changing prizes.

"We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that we get to give all the lucky winners their giant cheques very soon," senior winners' advisor Andy Carter said on Monday.

If no valid claim has been made after two weeks, the National Lottery will release the area in which the ticket was purchased.

The unclaimed £76 million ticket is the fourth EuroMillions jackpot won in the UK this year and the 12th biggest National Lottery prize of all-time.

The winning EuroMillions numbers for that draw were 5, 15, 17, 37 and 44, with the Lucky Stars 7 and 11.
