TWO cars belonging to the same family were destroyed in what is thought to have been an arson attack.
Firefighters were called to Grant Street, Keighley, at around 9.40pm last night, where the Volvo and Peugeot cars were ablaze.
Watch Commander Ahsan Ali, of Keighley Fire Station, said police are still at the scene and the fires are being treated as arson.
No-one was injured.
Firefighters stayed at the scene for around an hour.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “Police are investigating a fire which damaged two cars in Grant Street at around 9.30pm yesterday (Sunday).
“A crime of arson has been recorded and anyone who can assist with information is asked to contact Bradford District CID on 101, quoting crime reference 13180566777.
“Information can also be reported by using the live chat facility on the West Yorkshire Police website, or anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.”
