A POPPY has been placed on Queensbury war memorial for each of the soldiers from the village killed in World War One.
The Queensbury History Society project was researched by Mrs Sheila Thornton.
The poppies, which were knitted by the women of Queensbury, were installed on the Cenotaph on Friday.
The poppies were planted in the planters in front, the purple ones to remember the animals that were killed and these were knitted by the Foxclub Purlers, aged eight to 10 from the out-of-school club at Foxhill Primary School.
