BINGLEY All Saints Church is to host one of just four Yorkshire performances of a new play about conflict through the ages - To End All Wars.
The production by Follow the Fleece Company uses melody and poetry to cover pleas for peace from the Trojan War to current events.
Written and directed by Nigel Schofield of the company, it marks the end of the Great War and is being staged at the parish church on the 100th anniversary of the Armistice.
The show features research into each locality it is being performed.
Follow the Fleece consists of performers from Bacca Pipes Folk Club in Keighley. Its mosaic musicals combine historical, contemporary and original writing to explore historical themes in productions which embrace a range of styles – choral and solo singing, recitation, drama, comedy and narrative.
