THE creator of one of the most popular children's television characters of the 21st Century will be on hand to re-open a local pre-school later this month.
Curtis Jobling will be the guest of honour at the grand re-opening of the Fulneck School Pre-School in Pudsey on Wednesday, November 28.
Mr Jobling has created many loved children's animated shows, with his most iconic creation being Bob the Builder. He will open the pre-school, before spending time entertaining the children.
The pre-school has been closed for a major refurbishment at the independent school.
Paul Taylor, principal at Fulneck, said: “We are really looking forward to welcoming parents and their children to the Grand Opening so they can see our wonderfully refurbished Pre-School for themselves, as well as having the chance to meet Curtis.
“Our Pre-School is in the centre of the overall school site and offers a warm and secure environment in which each child has the freedom to develop their abilities and potential.
“We have a strong commitment to child-centred learning and take the nurturing of our children’s confidence, self-esteem, curiosity and creativity very seriously, in a fun and exciting way.”
The event will take place at 9.30am and is open to all parents and children, and to book a place or for more information about Fulneck School, call 0113 2570235.
