A MAN was taken to hospital last night after he impaled himself on a fence in Bradford city centre.
Police, the fire service and paramedics were called to Mann's Court, opposite the Shoulder of Mutton pub, in Kirkgate, at 11.40pm when the man's attempts to climb over a spiked fence backfired.
A passerby heard the man's cry for help and emergency crews with specialist equipment were called in to lift him off the spike and take him to hospital.
His injuries are not life threatening.
