A CHOIR which made it through to the X-Factor live shows will perform at this weekend’s launch of Sparkling Bradford and Christmas lights switch on.

LMA Choir were voted out in the second week of performances, but they have been snapped up by organisers to replace boy band Union J.

LMA stands for Liverpool Media Academy and its members are aged between 19 and 40.

Ian Ward, general manager, The Broadway, said: “We’re pleased to announce that LMA Choir will be replacing Union J as one of our headlining acts at this weekend’s Festive Launch for Sparkling Bradford.

“They’ve had a fantastic run on this year’s X-Factor and we’re looking forward to welcoming them to The Broadway this Saturday.”

Singer Rebecca Ferguson, Bradford performer Thomas Lillywhite and Love Island star Wes Nelson are all attending the event, which starts at 4.30pm.
