ON THE 11th day of the 11th month at 11 o’clock 100 years ago the guns finally fell silent on the Great War.
Bradford district will pay its respects to those killed or injured in conflicts around the world on Remembrance Sunday, November 11.
There will be civic representations at the following 31 services across the district. This list has been updated with a change to Clayton times:
10.30am - Service at St Peter's Church, Church Street, Addingham.
11.45am - Parade from St Peter's Church to the War Memorial, Main Street (by Memorial Hall). Wreath laying ceremony.
3pm - Service and wreath laying at Allerton War Memorial, Lady Hill Park, off Allerton Road
1.15pm - Service and wreath laying at Tong Park War Memorial, Baildon.
2pm - Parade assembles at The Shroggs, Baildon.
2.10pm - Parade to St. John's Church.
2.30pm - Service at St John's Church.
3.30pm - Parade to War Memorial, Browgate, Baildon.
4pm - Parade disperses. Hot soup available at The Shroggs following the dispersal of the Parade.
10.20am - Parade forms up outside Bingley Arts Centre
10.40am - March to the Cenotaph in Myrtle Park
11am - Service and wreath laying ceremony at Cenotaph in Myrtle Park
11.45am - After service parade reforms to parade to Bingley Town Hall
12pm - Refreshments in Bingley Town Hall
Bolton Woods
2pm - Meet at Bradford Christian School for refreshments.
2.20pm - Service of Remembrance.
3pm - Wreath laying ceremony at the War Memorial, Livingstone Road, Bolton Woods
Bradford
10.20am - Parade forms up outside City Hall.
10.40am - March to the Cenotaph.
11am - Remembrance Service and wreath laying ceremony. After service parade marches through City Park, the Lord Lieutenant, Lord Mayor and representatives from the Royal British Legion will take the Salute which will be followed by the 'Sunset' ceremony. Refreshments will be served in City Hall
Burley-in-Wharfedale
9.45am - Service at The Methodist Church, Main Street, Burley-Wharfedale.
10.45am - Act of Remembrance and laying of wreaths at the Cenotaph.
9.30am - Service at The Parish Church of St John The Baptist, Clayton Lane followed by walk to the Cenotaph in Victoria Park, Clayton.
10.50pm - Act of Remembrance and laying of wreaths at the Cenotaph.
Cross Roads, Lees and Bocking
9.30am - Service of Remembrance at Church of St James, Haworth Road, Cross Roads followed by wreath laying ceremony at the War Memorial in Cross Roads Park at 10.50am.
10am - Church service at St John’s Church, Cullingworth
10.50am Remembrance Service at the War Memorial, Halifax Road, Cullingworth
10.30am - Guests to assemble at Denholme Youth Cafe in Foster Park
10.45am - The parade will assemble outside the Youth Cafe to walk to the Cenotaph.
11am - Service of Remembrance and wreath laying at the Cenotaph, Foster Park.
2.45pm - Parade assembles by the Bowling Green, Recreation Ground, adjacent Stone Hall Road, Eccleshill.
2.55pm - Parade from Bowling Green to the Cenotaph.
3pm - Service and wreath laying ceremony.
10am - Service at Greengates Parish Church.
10.45am - Parade to Cenotaph, Harrogate Road.
11am - Service and wreath laying ceremony.
11.10am - Parade back to Greengates Parish Church. Refreshments in the Church Hall
Greenwood Park/Sandy Lane
12.30pm - Service at Greenwood Park War Memorial, Sandy Lane followed by refreshments at Bethel Baptist Church.
10.45am - Assemble at Harden War Memorial.
11am - Wreath laying ceremony.
11.15am - Joint Service of Remembrance at St Saviour's Church.
Haworth
10.50am Assemble at War Memorial, Haworth (bottom of Brighouse Lane) for Remembrance Service and wreath laying ceremony.
2.40pm - Assemble at Whitton Croft Road (directly behind the Town Hall).
2.50pm - Parade on Chantry Drive, Station Road and The Grove.
3pm - Remembrance Service and wreath laying ceremony in the Memorial Gardens.
9.15am -Civic dignitaries to meet at the Town Hall and parade assembles at Russell Street
9.35 - The Parade moves off from Russell Street
9.40am - Civic dignitaries move off from Town Hall and join Parade
9.50am - Procession arrives at the Church to be met by the Clergy
10am- Remembrance Service at Keighley Shared Parish Church
10.40am - Parade to Town Hall Square
11am - Wreath laying ceremony at the Cenotaph followed by two minutes silence
11.15am - Parade to march off the Square via North Street into Bow Street
Low Moor (Harold Park)
1.45pm - Service of Remembrance and wreath laying ceremony at the Cenotaph, Rose Garden, Harold Park. Refreshments available.
10.30am - Assemble at the memorials outside Kirklands Community Centre
10.45am - Service commences. Refreshments in Community Centre following service.
10.45am - Service of Remembrance and wreath laying ceremony at the War Memorial in Oakworth Park.
10.45am - Service of Remembrance and wreath laying ceremony at St Mary the Virgin Church.
10.30am - Parade assembles at the Scout HQ, Albert Crescent.
10.45am - Parade moves off.
10.55am - Act of Remembrance and wreath laying at the Cenotaph.
11.10am - Parade to Holy Trinity Church for Service of Remembrance.
12.15pm - Following the service the Parade will march past the Cenotaph for the Salute to be taken.
9.45am - Service of Remembrance at St Paul's Parish Church, Kirkgate, followed by Parade to Cenotaph in Crowgill Park.
10.55am - Act of Remembrance and wreath laying ceremony. Refreshments at Shipley Town Hall.
10.30am - Parade assembles at Wesley Place.
10.45am - Parade departs for Cenotaph.
11.00am - Service and wreath laying ceremony at the Cenotaph, Memorial Gardens, Kirkgate.
10am - Joint Service of Remembrance at St Stephen's Church, St Stephen's Road. Wreaths laid on altar and then taken to the Cenotaph.
11am - Wreath laying ceremony at Steeton War Memorial, followed by two minutes’ silence.
10.45am - Assemble at Thornton War Memorial (lower end of Thornton Cemetery).
11am - Service of Remembrance and wreath laying at the War Memorial.
Tong
10.45am - Assemble at War Memorial (just inside the gates of Tong Cemetery at junction Tong Street and Toftshaw Lane)
11am - Wreath laying ceremony.
3pm - Act of Remembrance and wreath laying ceremony at Wibsey Cenotaph.
10.45am - Assemble at the War Memorial, Main Street, Wilsden.
11am - Act of Remembrance and wreath laying ceremony with two minutes' silence. Refreshments to follow in the Village Hall.
Wyke - Low Moor
12.30am - Service of Remembrance and wreath laying ceremony at the Cenotaph at the junction of Cleckheaton Road and Common Road, Low Moor.
Temporary road closures will be in place across the district for some of these services.
