STUDENTS studying for their GCSE exams this summer are being invited to Bradford College this week for a specialist open evening.
The open evening, on Wednesday, November 7, will give students moving on to A-Levels next year a flavour of college life.
Visiting students and their parents will have the opportunity to tour the facilities, including its state-of-the-art science laboratories, film and media suites, and computing classrooms.
Students will also have the opportunity to discuss subjects with specialist tutors, and welcome presentations will also take place throughout the evening.
Current students will also be on hand to give first-hand experiences of how college life is different to school.
The college offers A-Levels in more than 15 subject areas, with students heading to some of the country’s top universities.
A college spokesperson said: “Our Sixth Form is a great alternative to staying on at school to study A Levels.
“Students who study with us benefit from amazing state-of-the-art facilities, support with their UCAS progression, Students’ Union, societies and clubs, cafes, a restaurant, beauty salons and sports facilities - giving them an overall fantastic learning experience.”
The open evening is free to attend, and will run from 5.30pm to 7.30pm in the David Hockney Building. To pre-book a place, visit bradford college.ac.uk, or turn up and register on the night.
