As its Halloween, we take a look at 10 of the district's most haunted pubs.

1. The ghost of a man in a flat cap is said to haunt the Cricketers Arms, in Keighley.

2. The Dog and Gun, Oxenhope, is reputed to have mischievous ghost with a taste for playing Julio Iglesias at top volume.

4. There've been weird happenings at the 250-year-old White Swan, Idle, with the sighting of a woman near the cellar door.

8. In 1906 parachutist Lily Cove died after her parachute failed. Her spirit is now said to frequent the Old White Lion in Haworth.

9. Fans of literature should check out the Black Bull, Haworth, where the spectre of Branwell Bronte with his disheveled red hair and wild eyes has apparently been a regular over the years.
