BRADFORD housing association Accent has appointed James Kelly as a non-executive director on its management board and audit and risk committee.
James is a former director of Lettings and Property Management at Lloyds Banking Group. He has previously held director roles at Sequence Connells (a division of Skipton Building Society) and Dacre, Son & Hartley. He has also undertaken a number of senior committee and government affairs roles with the Department for Work and Pensions, UK Finance and The Council for Mortgage Lenders.
James is looking forward to taking up his new role. He said: āIām delighted to have the opportunity to help Accent deliver its priorities around providing great customer service and building affordable, good quality new homes for people in housing need.ā
Accent is a national housing association providing homes and services to over 40,000 residents across England from offices in the north and south. It has been operating for over 50 years and employs some 500 staff.
